When the laser disc was invented there was a slight sketchy feeling among the general population. People loved it and people hated the change. As a Child again in elementary school I was having a long talk with my teacher again. I am unable to divulge her name. but, that is besides the point.
the things in this discussion were grand and very interesting. this is not a fabled story at all. the Laser Disc needed to be modified in my personal opinion. It's simply too big. And with out taking any thing except the fact that it was laser reading media. I changed the math and merely made it smaller. some thing that could fit into a child's hand with the radius and the diameter of a woman's hand. thus the Compact Disc® was invented.
the compact disc was then modified into a darker color and eventually became the Digital Video Disc and through times of need for double the layer and now the Blu-ray Disc. but let me share why I started the Blu-ray Disc and helped them over the Macro pixel High Definition DVD. They were simply nicer people over the phone!!! then we went into the whole ROYGBIV detail of color and dimension and next thing you know were talking about gray scale to ROYGBIV and then 120 came into focus and finally People are not worried about HD movies any more. it's as simple as that but, it sure didn't seem that simple 20 years ago.
ask Intel® about it and they will say the exact same thing!
